The Platinum Music Awards
For the past two years (2017 and 2018) I’ve been the official photographer of the Platinum Music Awards–an event sponsored by the New Mexico Music Commission to acknowledge musical icons of New Mexico with an award and a special night at the Lensic with performances to honor these winners…(Modeled after the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts Awards in Washington, D.C.) The Honorees shown here at a dinner at the Eldorado Hotel preceding the Performance at the Lensic on August 30, 2018. Here are some highlights from last year’s performances.
