Landon Proposes to Austin

Landon (22) traveled from Texas with his soon to be fiancee, Austin (also 22) to Santa Fe for a magical weekend. Unbeknowst to her, Landon hired me (as an Uber driver) to pick them up and take them to a natural setting so he could propose along the Santa Fe River in the autumn, surrounded by beautiful yellow leafed cotton wood trees and the bubbling river….He and I had agreed when they had landed on a good spot for his bended knee, I would say, “that’s a nice spot” and he would drop to his knee, offer her a ring and his hand in marriage.. Then I drove them downtown and strolled around and I photographed them near a few of my favorite spots including the Saint Frances Cathedral, The Native American Museum (MOCNA) and the plaza itself where “day of the dead” celebrations were in full swing. So Landon and Austin strolled around, danced and posed with some of the celebrants. Dinner at “dinner for 2” sealed the deal and then back to Amarillo….What a handsome couple and so much in love!! Santa Fe is a magical place to get engaged! Don’t you agree?
